When can a credit card surcharge be added?

A surcharge can be offered on an eligible credit card when the card brand rules and the law that applies to the sale allow it. The customer sees the surcharge before paying. Card brand rules still govern how it is shown and which cards can take one. This page does not restate those rules, and it does not decide whether a particular sale qualifies.

Can a debit card be surcharged?

No. Debit cards and prepaid cards are not surcharged. A bank payment is not surcharged either.

Do state rules change a surcharge?

Yes. State law is not the same everywhere. Some states limit a surcharge or do not allow one, and where the customer pays can matter. This page does not list states and is not a determination for a sale.

How fast are deposits?

Settled funds are paid to the linked bank account on the schedule shown in the dashboard. A payout is not instant. The dashboard shows whether it is pending, on the way, or paid, and the bank still has to post it.

Can I switch to Last?

You can create an account and use test mode before anything is live. Test mode does not move real money. Live payments require approval. Opening an account does not move funds that are already headed to a bank, and it does not guarantee approval.

Is there a long-term contract?

You can close the account at any time. The terms and the pricing schedule are the agreement. Refunds, disputes, and fees that already exist can continue after the account closes. The terms describe that in full.
